New turf arrived from the mainland yesterday (Wednesday 1st Feb) and the greenstaff will use this to finish off the 8th and 11th surrounds and re-turf the bunkers which have been filled in and removed. The Ladies 6th tee, 12th and 16th tees have all been re-levelled and will be relaid with the new turf.

The new path at the 8th hole is coming along nicely and should be finished within a week or so. The Winter Program for 2011/12 is nearing completion thanks to the favourable weather conditions we have enjoyed since October. However, spare a thought for the guys out there at the moment - laying in turf in only 3 degrees celsius with a north easterly force 4-5 blowing cannot be a pleasant experience.

17.01.2012 > Work to commence on the new trolley shed

The Management Committee are pleased to announce that work will commence on the new trolley shed in early February. The old structure will be dismantled and removed.

Therefore, members are requested to remove ALL trolleys and other equipment from the trolley shed by Tuesday 31st January 2012. Any equipment/trolleys remaining in the existing shed after this date will be removed and disposed of.  Unfortunately, there will be no alternative storage facility available during the proposed works.

It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 6 - 8 weeks to complete.
